There’s something that has been bothering me about the translation of the applications Yūgo filled out in Episode 062.
hmm i wouldn’t overthink this though, if yuugo meant to keep his address private he wouldn’t have used a term that’s a homonym to his actual address, right? would kind of defeat the purpose of being cautious. ‘facility’ is super vague anyway, there could be dozens of them, and by submitting this form he’s already sending himself into the lion’s den.
私設 is used like so (for establishments or positions like private detective, private network, etc), probably not a term one would use to state confidential information. 秘密 (ひみつ himitsu) or 機密 (きみつ kimitsu) would be more appropriate.
